Where does the time go?!

Life has been a little hectic lately. Speaking engagements, family affairs, vacations, and a little one on the way. I am always looking for ways to be more efficient with my time. We are so fortunate to live in this day and age with cell phones, laptops, iPads, etc. It is hard to imagine life without these modern conveniences. Here are a few of my favorite ways to conserve time these days.

-Online shopping and delivery - I am certainly one who likes to go to the market and pick my produce. I enjoy going to supermarket and getting out for a quick shopping trip. Everyone can use freshening up the closet (or the pantry). There are so many grocery stores, online retailers, and companies helping to make our shopping a little easier. My newest favorite(we are not talking clothing today - no one 7 months pregnant really enjoys shopping for clothes). Amazon Mom! I love welcoming 30% savings! Not only do you get 15% off on so many of their items, but if you sign up for regular delivery of your favorite most used items (diapers, wipes, protein bars, etc. you save up to 30%). Not only that - it saves you a trip to the store, gas savings, and time!!! Even better - I could not believe how quickly my shipment arrived. I literally took a double take when I saw the box at my door. You can also cancel the auto ship any time. They even email you to remind you about your order ahead of shipment and you can postpone, cancel or change it if necessary ensuring you get the products you want at a great price.

-Buying in bulk - Living in a City this is something I normally do not welcome. I have my Costco membership, but often do not want to stock up on much because storage space is limited. My new favorite item to stock up on...Kirkland brand Organic Vanilla Soy Milk. In the past I would buy a three pack of Silk because we would go thru the milk so quickly. I hated spending $5+ on milk at the bodega because I ran out too. My favorite Costco employee introduced me to their brand when they were out of Silk one visit and I was instantly hooked. Not only does it not take up all that space in the fridge, it comes in non perishable boxes and I can get thru three weeks without worrying about running out. The price tag: less than $13 too! Definitely check it out.

What are you doing these days to save time, resources and energy?
